Application Scenarios
Ideal for lining agricultural irrigation canals, farmland furrows, and small-scale water delivery channels. This solution helps farmers conserve water resources, improve irrigation efficiency, and maintain consistent water flow to various crops including vegetables, grains, and fruits.
The cement blanket adapts to uneven farmland terrain, can be installed on both new and existing canals, and demonstrates excellent resistance to damage from farm machinery and animal activity.
Installation Process
1. Canal Preparation
Clean the canal surface thoroughly, removing all weeds and loose soil. Level the bottom and sides, filling uneven areas with soil and compacting firmly.
2. Blanket Installation
Roll out the cement blanket along the canal from upstream to downstream. Overlap adjacent sheets by 10cm and secure edges with soil or wooden stakes for stability.
3. Watering & Curing
Spray water evenly across the blanket surface until fully saturated using a bucket or sprinkler. Allow 24 hours for initial hardening. Irrigation can resume after 3 days, with full strength achieved within 7 days.
